Metal Sputtering Targets

Metal sputtering targets are available for all sputter coaters that we currently manufacture, as well as for previous models manufactured with the brand names Emscope, Emitech, Polaron, Bio-Rad, Fisons Instruments and Thermo VG.

E5000 Sputter Targets

These targets are fitted to the E5000, E5200, E5400, SC502, SC7610 and SC7620 sputter coaters. Targets are 57mm foil, 0.1mm thick or 0.2mm thick.

These targets are fitted to the E5175 Sputter Coater. Targets are annular (115mm OD, 92mm ID), 0.1mm thick and supplied as an assembly mounted on an aluminium ring holder.

K500X and K550X Sputter Targets

K500X and K550X Sputter Targets

These targets are fitted to the K500X and K550X sputter coaters. Targets are 60mm diameter x 0.1mm thick and mounted onto an aluminium backing plate.

NB: The K500X and K550X are fitted as standard with a 0.1mm thick gold (Au) sputtering target (TK8842)

K575X, K575XD and Q150 Sputter Targets
These targets are fitted to the K575X, K575XD and Q150 sputter coaters. Targets are foil type and mostly 57mm diameter (though some metals are 54mm). Foil thickness varies.

NB: The Q150T S and Q150T ES are fitted as standard with a 0.3mm thick chromium (Cr) sputtering target (TK8845).
